Daily leaf pick-up will begin Monday, November 10th. We have begun random pickups. If you see the truck and your leaves aren’t out, don’t worry! We will be through all neighborhood’s multiple times. A daily Facebook post will be made on where the truck is beginning November 10th. Follow us at:
https://www.facebook.com/PerkinsTownship
As a reminder, the collections will be done on a rotating basis from east to west. We will make multiple passes through the Township. Collections will continue until leaves are removed from the neighborhoods provided that the weather cooperates. An update on where the truck will be is posted on our Facebook page each morning. We will do our best to be as accurate as possible.
1. Residents are reminded that leaves should be placed along the roadside on the property owner’s lot.
2. Leaves should not be placed in the street or the curb gutter in order to ensure that drainage is not affected.
3. Leaves should be placed in a linear windrow to aid in quick and complete collection.
4. The leaf windrows need to be free from all other plant materials, sticks, and debris to prevent damage to the leaf collection machines.
5. Windrows containing such debris will not be collected.
6. Please do NOT place leave in bags (paper or plastic).
7. Please remove all vehicles parked in front of leaves. If vehicles are not removed, leaves cannot be collected.
